Minecraft 1.21.32
OBJECTIVE_DETAILS
Minecraft players on Bedrock Edition have a new minor update to download today. While version 1.21.132 is a small "hotfix" rather than a content-heavy expansion, it addresses several critical bugs that were making the game unplayable for some, particularly those on Xbox and Nintendo Switch. If you’ve been experiencing crashes or missing textures, this update is for you.
Key Bug Fixes in This Version
1. Xbox Split-Screen Fix: One of the most frustrating bugs recently was player data disconnecting during split-screen sessions on Xbox. This update finally fixes MCPE-233088, ensuring that your progress and inventory stay synced even when playing locally with friends.
2. Visual & Texture Improvements: The "Graphical" side of Minecraft often takes a hit during updates. This hotfix resolves two major issues:
Menu Loading: Textures will now correctly reload when you toggle graphics modes in the main menu.
Add-on Support: A bug (MCPE-233369) that caused Add-on resources to vanish when a second player joined split-screen has been patched. This is great news for fans of custom texture packs!
3. Performance & Stability: The developers have also capped the potential for crashes related to the /effect @e command. Previously, using this on too many entities would kick players from the game. Now, the system handles these commands more gracefully.
Our Recommendation: As always, we recommend backing up your favorite worlds before updating. If you are playing on a Realm, the update may take a few hours to be available to all players. For Nintendo Switch users, this update is mandatory to fix the recent freezing issues during Realm purchases.
